You accepted the Job offer.

The house shouldn't have to wait.

Written Verification of Employment. Offer letter. Career continuity. You bring the down payment, great credit, and your offer letter; we build the strategy that works without proof of income.

Your salary is real, it's documented in writing, and it starts soon. The mortgage system just needs to read the letter your employer already wrote.

You went under contract on the house. You are doing everything right.  And then the lender asked for paystubs from a job that hasn't started yet. So now you're wondering whether the house and the job can actually happen at the same time.

They can.

🦸

Your Superpower

You made the right career move. Could be a promotion. Could be the opportunity you've been waiting on for three years. Either way — you said yes to the right thing at the right time.

The income is real. Your employer confirmed it in writing. The career history shows this is exactly where you were headed.

The Beige Box needs a paystub from a check that hasn't been cut yet. That's not a you problem. That's a documentation timing problem.

🌀

What the Beige Box gets wrong

The standard mortgage system was built around income you've already collected. Two years of W-2s, recent paystubs, consistent employer history — that's the shape of the form. A buyer who accepts a $160,000 salary, goes under contract on a house, and needs to close before the start date has real, documented, verified income. It just hasn't shown up in a bank account yet. The Beige Box sees no paystub and stops. It doesn't ask whether the employer already confirmed everything in writing. It checks a box, finds it empty, and calls it a no.

💥

The Strategy - how it works

The employer provides a written verification confirming salary, start date, and employment terms. The career history establishes continuity — same field, logical progression. Together these become the qualifying income that bridges the gap between the offer and the first paycheck.

What the Lender will look at

1.

Signed offer letter on employer letterhead

2.

HR contact for WVOE form completion — the employer fills this out, not you

3.

Prior employment documentation showing career continuity in the same field

4.

Two months of bank statements

5.

Government-issued ID

🔥

WATCH OUT!!!

The things that can undermine this strategy

● Career changes. Moving to a completely unrelated field in this same move is a more complicated file. Same industry, logical next step — that’s the story the strategy needs.

● Start date timing. The start date must typically be within 60–90 days of closing. Coordinate the timeline before you go under contract.

● The WVOE form is completed by HR — not you. Confirm HR cooperation before the strategy depends on it.

Your strategy starts here

The offer letter is the document. Your employer's written verification of salary, start date, and role fills in the paystub gap. The career history — same field, logical next step — establishes continuity. Together, those three things become the qualifying income that bridges the window between offer accepted and first paycheck deposited.

We find the lender whose underwriting guidelines accept this structure. Not all of them do. The lender selection is most of the strategy.
